Joint help for Kurdistan (JHK) is a non-profit, nonpolitical and non-religious umbrella organization for all supporting NGO:s, individual funds and volunteers who want to give help and show support for the Kurdish people and all the other minorities living in Kurdistan. Our main mission is to support and protect the most vulnerable groups and individuals suffering from humanitarian crises and to ensure their well being and rights. We believe: Many small brooks make a strong river!
We work with a systematic approach striving for team spirit to provide good health care and medical services to conflict-affected people in Kurdistan. Currently our main work lays within a IDP-camp (internally displaced people’s camp) in the Kurdish autonomous region where the population is Yazidi with high percentage of young adults and children. Other than working in the camp we also provide health care and medical services through our mobile team in times of crisis. Abroad of Kurdistan we are working with spreading information about the current situation in Kurdistan and about the Yazidi Genocide 3rd of August 2014 to increase awareness.
The JHK-team contains of genuine individuals who show their utmost love towards the work and towards people in need. We like cooperation therefore we also have both medical and non-medical volunteers from Kurdistan as well as from all over the world coming to us and have had projects with other NGO:s and organisations. Our way and means are based upon donations and funding mainly from private individuals showing their support for our work, but also from other NGO:s who want to collaborate. All the donations and funding that we receive go 100 % non-cut to the people we work with since we do not have either time nor interests in spending it on administrations. Here you can read more about our donation methods.

I’m not in search of sanctity, sacredness, purity; these things are found after this life, not in this life; but in this life I search to be completely human: to feel, to give, to take, to laugh, to get lost, to be found, to dance, to love and to lust, to be so human.
